Crawling Competition

Today Natalie and her friend Summer participated in a crawling competition. Even though she was the only baby who can't crawl "properly", she army-crawled her way to third place (I think)! She finished the race in 39 seconds and got a nice certificate.

To entice babies to crawl, parents bring all sorts of interesting things from home. Tracy brought the home telephone (it's Natalie's current favourite). Other parents brought cookies, a tissue box, mobile phone chargers, and even a slipper!

The orange stuffed animal is the toy SmartKids provides to help entice babies to crawl. The toy is hooked onto a drink bottle at the finish line.


Summer and Natalie are more interested in playing with the bottle than the toy.
