She's got the shades, the cool ride, the water bottle, the body, that face, and the entourage (4 adults fawning over her). Oh, and the paparazzi (me). Must be some kind of movie star.
When Natalie doesn't like something, she lets everyone know by doing this:
Watch Video 113 of Natalie trying to clap. Her hands aren't coordinated enough to meet yet, but she's almost got it and she's happy trying!
Natalie is learning so much so fast, it's hard to keep up! Watch Video 111 of Natalie with HUGE smiles playing with Lisa Yee-yee at Pizza Hut today. She has also learned to do the indian war cry. Also, to encourage Natalie to learn to walk more, we bought her a toy walker. Watch Video 112 of Natalie playing with... the box. The walker is behind her in the video. She also does more indian war cry here.
While camera chasing (yes, again), we caught some good pics of Natalie's BIG teeth and BIG nostrils. Here they are below. We're not biased or anything, but she's too funny and cute!
Watch Video 110 of Natalie walking (almost by herself!) as she pushes a stool ahead of her. She seems to like it! But crawling is much faster and she finally resorts to hands and knees again when camera chasing. Also, Natalie is a real squirmy wormy now. When you carry her, she is twisting this way and that to look around and reach for things. Except when she just wakes up. Then she's very dopey and clingy and "deh". Happy chilling with her Daddy in front of the TV after waking up from her morning nap.
This was taken a few weeks ago at sushi lunch with Lisa, Dennis, and Por-por. It's one of Tracy's favourite photos now :) Thanks to Lisa Yee-yee for passing it along!
Natalie has mastered the basic mechanics of walking AND climbing! She puts one foot in front of the other to get around (while holding our hands) and she can climb up onto our sofa all by herself. She loves it! Watch Natalie giggling and laughing while doing both in Video 109.
Watch Video 108 of Natalie picking up golf balls and putting them back into the box. This requires some serious coorindation and Natalie's got it. We're so proud! Seriously.Natalie's got a funky lip + drool thing going on while camera chasing (again).
Here's another look at Natalie's hair.Definite longer and thicker in the back. The front is another story.
Someone made a BIG mess of our DVD collection. Click here to see who.
Natalie is an official bottle pro! She can hold the bottle herself and look around while drinking. She also takes the bottle out of her mouth and can put it back in (although formula drips everywhere and sometimes she has to squint her eyes so it doesn't drip into them).
Natalie's hair is growing out... finally, yay! Nat's hair is so long now (ok, not THAT long, but definite progress here) that she actually gets a bit of bed-head when she wakes up from a nap. Take a look below. Also, see Video 106 of Natalie making "brrr!" sounds. It's her new thing now (and usually accompanied by lots of drool).
We are so grateful that Natalie is a good little sleeper. We can take her out all day and she will happily nap in her stroller or sling. Here is Natalie asleep on the MTR (subway). She sleeps so soundly that not even all the people around us and the loud speakers and the "beep beep beep beep" sounds of the doors opening and closing wake her. Also, look how long she is now. Her head is at the very top of the stroller and her feet are sticking out!
